My husband is more of a big-picture guy, so I'm often the one reminding him of details, like cards for birthdays for his family members, even though he, his sister, and his mom all have birthdays within a week of each other. So when he mentions the night before his mom's birthday that he hasn't even bought a card (let alone sent one), I knew what I had to do. I checked Google Maps to find a local florist (since Yelp Albion isn't quite at the level of reviews of some other Yelp cities), and Bloom's was just around the corner from her house. Yeah, most things in Albion are like that. I did remember that there was a florist that we'd pass driving to and from the lake, but didn't remember the name. Anyway, lucky for me, Bloom's had online ordering! So I was able to put in my order before the shop even opened, even using my Discover card. I despise talking on the phone for something that is best described with pictures and having to provide my credit card info over the phone, so the online ordering really is appreciated. There was a $6 delivery charge, but gas ain't cheap these days, so that seemed about right. I got an email from my MIL (via my husband) later that day thanking us for the flowers, which I followed up with a call to the birthday lady to check on the quality. She informs me that the delivery person was friendly and the flowers were beautiful. Four days later (which happened to be Easter), I get pictures of the arrangement, which had only become more beautiful in the time that had passed. The shop had done a good job of picking flowers slightly before their prime so that they opened up and made my MIL's house smell delightful. I will definitely be using Bloom's again in the future. After all, Mothers' Day is less than 2 weeks away! - Angela

My DH has ordered me two bouquets from here and both were outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised! (I can be picky about flowers!) Even the roses I got on Valentine's Day were top notch and still dewy when they arrived beautifully wrapped in a box and tissue with satin red ribbons, and perfectly cut and sized stems. Well done Bloom's you have won me over! I hope my man keeps ordering me flowers from your shop! -DL

Thank you so much for the beautiful flower arrangements you created for Mom & Dad’s funeral service last week. The white and blue flowers were lovely and so appropriate for both the church and cemetery. We took the individual carnations and placed them on the various family graves. On Monday Dec 23, 2013 your Delivery Lady brought me a very lovely Christmas arrangement from your store. I am 86 – Home Bound – She unwrapped it and placed it in the center of my table. After she left I looked for the trash paper to discard only to discover she had taken it with her. All of this is beyond the duties of a Delivery Person. I wish to thank her so much for her kindness and thoughtfulness and for making 2 trips to my home.
